We are a friendly, welcoming choir, based in North Bristol, of about 25 singers.  We range in age from young to (relatively) older, and we are always keen to add to our ranks with any new singers of any voice.

So, if you do come to us what can you expect?  With our welcoming and warm attitude, you will very soon feel valued, and a friend to many members. Our fine musical director, Andrew Kirk, brings out the very best in the choir through a combination of encouragement and musical discipline.

You can expect to sing a wide-ranging repertoire including both classical works and more modern pieces.

We do not audition (so you don’t have to jump that particular fence) and we don’t expect you to be a brilliant sight-reader either.  However, an ability to read music at a basic level would be an advantage.

Interested? Either contact us (through our Contacts page) or just turn up at a rehearsal and introduce yourself. You can come to two or three rehearsals to become familiar with us and the way we work before committing yourself to join us.

Rehearsals start at 7.30pm in the Hall of Stoke Bishop Primary School, BS9 1BW. View Map

Listen to a short extract from one of our recent concerts.

We finished this term with a light-hearted selection of music that was appreciated by our audience of St Monica's residents and many of our friends. We were sad that it was our last concert with Andrew (Kirk) as director - he is moving on to be the MD of Portishead Choral Society - who rehearse on the same night as we do.
