We are a friendly, welcoming choir, based in North Bristol, of about 40 singers. We range in age from young to (relatively) older, and we are always keen to add to our ranks with any new singers of any voice.
So, if you do come to us what can you expect? As a recently-joined member myself (webmaster) I can vouch for the welcome and warmth of everyone. You will very soon feel valued, and a friend to many members. Our fine musical director Richard, and excellent accompanist Stuart bring out the very best in the choir through their combination of encouragement and musical discipline.
You can expect to sing a wide-ranging repertoire including both classical works and more modern pieces. You will find a list of our past repertoire here.
We do not audition (so you don’t have to jump that particular fence) and we don’t expect you to be a brilliant sight-reader either. However, an ability to read music at a basic level would be an advantage.
Interested? Either contact us (through our Contacts page) or just turn up at a rehearsal and introduce yourself. You can come to two or three rehearsals to become familiar with us and the way we work before committing yourself to join us. Details of rehearsal times etc are on our Rehearsals page.
