The Henbury Singers -
a Bristol Choir
for all to join
We normally rehearse on a Thursday evening. We try to arrive by 7.30 to give us time for greetings, bits of housekeeping etc. before the rehearsal proper begins at 7.45 sharp. Apart from a short break in the middle, we work through until 9.15 when there is a chance for anyone who wants, to join others in one of the local pubs.
The usual rehearsal room is the hall of Stoke Bishop CE Primary School, BS9 1BW (on the corner of Cedar Park and Lyndale Avenue, Stoke Bishop).
There is ample parking available in the school playground at the rear of the school.
or if the school is not available, we meet in St Edyth’s Church in Sea Mills.
There are (inevitably) subs for the choir, which cover the cost of hiring the hall, musical director, accompanist, and all music. Currently the subs are £125 per year, which you may pay in two installments.
